As humans evolved, they soon stopped believing in Mota, crediting her work to the Human Buddha, who, although posessing great power, was not nearly as powerful as Mota, but took credit for it just the same. This was nearing the time when the great God Thanos, whos only power was the destruction of order appeared. He, seeing that the Human Buddha was disrupting Mota's great plan, protected Buddha, and made him his unknowing disciple. He blessed him with powers far beyond the reach of the mortal humans who would soon depend on him as a God, a leader, and a great source of power. Angered and outraged by this, though unable to do anything about this, Mota transported her high priests and acolytes to a dark circle of trees in a faraway forest, where she instructed them in her ways and blessed them with magic healing and protective powers which she herself would be unable to provide to the still-believers as she would have to devote her time to finding a way to overcome Thanos. These priests and acolytes, dedicated to their Goddess, still exist to this day, but they have changed... To fight the harsh cold of the forests at night, they wore long flowing robes, which also were a representation of their level of wisdom. They also grew to tremendous heights as compared to humans, so as to see predators coming in the distance before they had any chance to strike. Thus, the druidic race of the Barren Realms was born.
Druids are an old, wise, clannish race. They spend much of their time by themselves practicing magic and the art of combat. Druids generally are about 7 feet tall and wear long flowing robes.
