FAR-EASTERN !  
This is my latest work.  I do it mostly to satisfy  my curiosity and the penchant for ornate & elaborate setups.  The setting is emperial China in X_dynasty.  The concept is meant to emunate that of the ancient historical saga, San-Koku-Ji, where in the Era of Warrior States, Three Cunning and Powerful Overlords strive for the control of entire continent; and ultimate coronation as the Supreme Emperor. 

NOSTALGIA !  
That said, I seem more interested in the romance between two of the main characters in the story.  Oh well.  So my story begins after the Dust had settled, the war over, and in the relative misleading innocence of Peace Times. 
 
ROMANCE ! 
Seduction is the bulk of this first book. The OverLord of Japan abandoned his sovereign rule and come to stay with the Emperor of the New Kingdom.  This volume is mainly about how they met, and consists entirely of flashbacks & reflections. Pitting Nippon with Dynastical China.
