Gazing into a sea of flowers
Swaying to the sweet breathe of the sun
The rythm of the native earth beating
humming
What are those speckles of stars
But shimmering waves of the little ocean
calling
inviting
want to roll in the soft, perfumed, refreshing splendour
red, white, brown, yellow, and green
How do I laugh and choke on my tears
Sweat mixing with the soil between my toes
A tiny butterfly rests on the fragile petals of this
flower that I picked up
Its wings trembling
burdened with a drop of my tear
so small in my wrinkled hand
Then it disappears into the honey rays
When the western wind breezes through my long
white hair
