Dom Dom Sumou Wrestling


Summary
Sumou is the traditional sports in japan. And many people in the world knows this sultry sports. Huge men fight on the round stage called "DOHYOU" and if opponent lay down on the stage or is pushed out from DOHYOU then one win.
Here is the simple game that is played among japanese children.

Making
  1. Let's down load the bitmap archive. domdom.zip (10KB)
  2. Extract the archive by WinZip or the other utilities.
  3. Open the bitmap file and print out for your color printer.
  4. At first, you have to cut off 2 wrestlers and 2 piecies of MAWASHI pants.(They fight wearing MAWASHI only.)
    Secondly, bend the wrestler and MAWASHI along the broken line.
  5. Next, make the wrestler wear the MAWASHI pants because even they have pride ordinarily.
  6. Lastly, you must draw the circle on the kitchen table. Yeees, it's the DOHYOU.
How to Play
  1. Make 2 wrestlers stand at the center of the DOHYOU circle face to face.
  2. Call "Huck-Ke-Yoi" that is "Ready?".
  3. Then, call "Knock-O-TA!" that is "Go!".
  4. Player must strike the table powerfully to make own wrestler move and push out the opponent.

Some of SUMOU Rules

trick name description
Tsuki-Dashi If your wrestler push out your opponent from DOHYOU circle then you win.
Tsuki-Otoshi If your wrestler push and your opponent lay down on the stage then you win.
Hari-Te If your wrestler punch the face and your opponent lay down on the stage then you win.
Moro-Dashi If your wrestler's MAWASHI pants is taken off then you are defeated.
Han-Soku If your wrestler grip your opponent's hair then you are defeated.
Hasso-Tobi If your wrestler jump over your oppenent and push out from behind then you win. This is the most advanced technique and not watched scarcely even in japan.
